Rajvansh Mansion was being decorated like a bride.
Red and white roses adorned every corner, while countless fairy lights enhanced its beauty even more. Elegant red and golden drapes hung from the walls, and at the center stood a beautifully decorated aisle, waiting for the bride and groom.
Amidst all the hustle and bustle, a lady's voice thundered across the hall.
"Arre alsiyo! Jaldi-jaldi kaam karo. Yahan aaj shaadi hai aur tum logon se abhi tak decoration hi khatam nahi hui!"
("You lazy people! Work faster. There's a wedding today, and the decorations still aren't finished!")
The voice belonged to none other than Siya Singh Rajvansh.
Just then, a graceful woman in her early fifties entered the hall with a calm aura surrounding her.
"Kya hua, Maa ji? Aap itna chilla kyun rahi hain?" she asked softly.
She was none other than Roohi Singh Rajvansh.
Siya huffed.
"Roohi, dekho na! Ye log kachue ki tarah kaam kar rahe hain. Shaam ko shaadi hai, aur agar ye isi tarah kaam karte rahe, to decoration shaam tak kaise khatam hogi?"
("Roohi, look at them! They're working as slowly as tortoises. The wedding is this evening. If they keep working like this, how will the decorations be finished in time?")
Roohi sighed patiently.
"Maa ji, aap stress mat lijiye. Aapki tabiyat kharab ho jayegi. Aur rahi baat decoration ki, woh dopahar tak ho jayegi. Aaiye, pehle nashta kar lijiye. Uske baad aapko dawai bhi leni hai."
("Mom, please don't stress yourself. Your health will suffer. The decorations will be completed by the afternoon. Come and have breakfast first. After that, you need to take your medicine.")
Siya nodded and followed Roohi to the dining area.
After settling into her chair, Siya looked around.
"Waise, Ishki aur Misha kahan hain? Maine un dono ko abhi tak nahi dekha."
Roohi let out a helpless sigh.
"Ye dono ladkiyan bahut aalsi hain. Mujhe poora yakeen hai ki dono abhi tak so rahi hongi, jaise duniya mein kal naam ki koi cheez hi na ho."
("These girls are so lazy. I'm sure they're still sleeping as if tomorrow doesn't exist.")
Siya chuckled.
"Accha, pehle un dono ko uthao. Main unke saath hi nashta karungi. Aur haan, raste mein Aarohi ko bhi dekh lena."

10:00 A.M.
Inside a cozy, dimly lit room, two girls lay sprawled across the bed with their faces buried in soft pillows. Each clutched a teddy bear as though her life depended on it. Their hair was scattered across the pillows like silk threads, and their peaceful faces made them look like adorable little puppies who had no care in the world.
Roohi entered the room with a gentle smile.
She opened the balcony doors and pulled the curtains aside.
Golden rays of sunlight poured into the room, landing directly on the girls' faces and making them groan in frustration as their precious beauty sleep came to an end.
"Ishki! Misha! Utho. Subah ke 10 baj gaye hain. Ghar mein shaadi hai aur tum dono ghode bech kar so rahi ho!"
("Ishki! Misha! Wake up. It's already ten in the morning. There's a wedding in the house, and you two are sleeping as if nothing else matters!")
Misha mumbled sleepily.
"Mumma... sone do na yaar..."
("Mumma... let us sleep a little longer...")
Roohi immediately pulled away their comforter.
"No. Get up. Right now."
Both girls sat up with grumpy expressions, blinking repeatedly to adjust to the bright light. They looked exactly like children whose chocolates had just been snatched away.
Misha complained dramatically,
"Yaar, shaadi bhai kar rahe hain. Humein kya? Aur waise bhi, kaun ek din pehle batata hai ki kal shaadi hai?"
("Brother is the one getting married. What do we have to do with it? And seriously, who announces a wedding just one day before it happens?")
Roohi folded her arms.
"Accha ji? To jao, apne bhai se hi pooch lo ki usne shaadi ke ek din pehle sabko kyun bataya."
("Oh really? Then go ask your brother why he informed everyone only a day before the wedding.")
Ishki, who was now fully awake because of all the chaos, giggled.
"Aunty, hamari Misha bas hamare saamne hi sherni banti hai. Bhai ke saamne to bheegi billi ban jaati hai."
("Aunty, Misha acts like a lioness only in front of us. The moment she sees her brother, she turns into a frightened little kitten.")
Without missing a beat, Misha shot back,
"Oho! Dekho kaun bol raha hai. Tu khud bhai ke aane ke baad room se bahar nahi nikalti. Pehle khud ko dekh."
("Oh wow! Look who's talking. You don't even step out of your room when bhai is around. Look at yourself first.")
Ishki pouted.
"Woh... itne daraawne lagte hain ki unke saamne jaane se hi darr lagta hai. Bilkul devil hain... devil!"
("He looks so scary that I'm afraid to even stand in front of him. He's a complete devil!")
Misha burst into laughter before turning to her mother.
"Mumma, bhai ko poori duniya mein koi aur ladki nahi mili jo us walking makeup shop se shaadi kar rahe hain?"
("Mumma, couldn't bhai find any other girl in the whole world? Why is he marrying that walking makeup shop?")
Roohi, who had been silently listening to them, spoke with a worried expression.
"Bhagwan jaane uske dimaag mein kya chal raha hai. Bas dua karti hoon ki kisi ka bura na ho."
("God knows what's going on in his mind. I only pray that no one gets hurt.")
She looked at both girls and warned,
"Jo hoga baad mein dekha jayega. Lekin mujhe tum dono aadhe ghante ke andar dining table par chahiye. Warna anjaam achha nahi hoga."
("Whatever happens can be dealt with later. Right now, I want both of you at the dining table within half an hour. Otherwise, the consequences won't be pleasant.")
With that, Roohi walked downstairs.
The moment she left...
A new battle began.
Both girls started arguing over who would take a bath first because both desperately wanted to steal a few more minutes of sleep.
Misha yawned.
"Ishki, tum pehle jao. Tum waise bhi bahut time leti ho. Tab tak main thodi der aur so leti hoon."
("Ishki, you go first. You take forever anyway. I'll sleep a little more until then.")
Ishki instantly protested.
"Bilkul nahi! Tum pehle jao. Mujhe thodi der aur sona hai."
("No way! You go first. I want to sleep a little longer.")
But Misha refused to move.
Finally, Ishki admitted defeat in the "Let Me Sleep a Little More" battle and dragged herself toward the bathroom.
After getting ready, she marched back to the bed and pulled Misha's blanket away.
"My turn is over. Now go! It's your turn, Misha baby."
After throwing countless tantrums, Misha finally dragged herself into the bathroom, realizing there was no escaping the "Quick Bath Mission."
Soon, both girls got ready in record time.
Laughing and teasing each other, they made their way downstairs...
Ready to join the fun, laughter, and chaos waiting for them inside Rajvansh Mansion.
